Chemometrics Assisted Spectrophotometric Method Development and Validation for Simultaneous Estimation of Abacavir, Lamivudine and Dolutegravir in Dosage Form

Abstract: Aim: Multivariate methods, particularly Classical Least Square, Inverse Square (ILS), Partial and Principal Component Regression are invented for the quantitation of Abacavir sulphate (ABA), Lamivudine (LAM) Dolutegravir sodium (DOL) in their combined tablet formulation. Materials Methods: Chemometrics is integration statistical mathematical approaches to analytical data order extract as much information possible. The calibration validation sets were built using fractional factorial design. 32 ternary mixtures 16 set prepared. absorbance matrix was created by measuring range 230 308 nm (Δλ = 3 nm) at 27 distinct wavelengths. models developed with aid MATLAB 2018a, Minitab 16.1.1 MS Excel 2010. Results: recovery values close 100% low standard deviation (SD) justified high accuracy proposed methods. For chemometrics approaches, RMSECV, RMSEC, RMSEP produced show good precision. model diagnostic tools lowest ILS method. Conclusion: shown be most appropriate method among chemometric models. more accurate precise than conventional methods total mixture measured can utilised simultaneous estimation.
